So far as I know that is NOT the theory. MSM can transport *itself* into
tissues (to a much lesser extent than DSMO) but does not transport
anything else with it. DMSO is the form that does transport not only
itself, but other substances (subject to molecular size limit). This is
my understanding from the Dr. Jacob site info, and the books I posted
titles of before.
Dr. Jacob has written that DMSO is far more effective and preferred to
use, but they use MSM much more frequently because patient compliance is
so much greater, as MSM does not have the skin irritation or odor
problems of DMSO.
If I'm wrong on this, please send me links and references.

Sorry to ask a silly question but what is DMSO?
Dimethyl sulphoxide. http://www.dmso.org/
How do you use all this?
Stay tuned or ask someone else. I use the granular version,
MSM with CS for external application with Qtip. Both carry
the CS thru the skin, so goes the theory. DMSO will give
you bad breath, taken internally or externally.
