Likewise, Korea, which currently produces a washing machine that
employs silver as an anti-bacterial agent. This is actually a very
good idea, given that a water temperature of 60 degrees centigrade is
needed to destroy the bacteria that exist in fecal matter common to
undergarments. Most people use cold water only, which means that
"clean" laundry is a source of bacteria, some quite harmful.
