They are called Indian Meal Moths. Very common in the pantry of one's home.
Go to this site here for some enjoyable reading on the subject:

http://www.bug-guy.com/FOOD&PANTRY%20pests.htm

We had them just about two years. We had to get rid of just about every food
that these moths could eat through, went shopping at a different grocery store
and then put all the new plastic bagged/cardboard boxed foods in ziplocs bags
and either refrigerated or froze them. Eventually, we eradicated them.

Wish I had better news but we are living in the "end of days" and "pestilence
(pests/bugs of any kind, including bacteria and viruses)" are one of the major
problems we will be/are experiencing.

this is too gross...I have been seeing flying bugs in my kitchen....like little
moths...and they are laying what looks like little catapillars on the
ceiling...I looked in my cupboard and they are coming from an unopended bag of
brown rice....what on earth could be the deal with this?????
thanks to all debbie
