Scott, I had most of my thyroid taken out also. Are you taking Synthroid? I had the problem with low energy for a long time too. One thing that seems to help me is Spirulina. I think it would be helpful for nerves also as it is loaded with B vitamins. If you have been taking antibiotics they kill off all the friendly bacteria so you might want to take a good probiotic. Oregano oil /Oreganol type might help with your tooth problem. It also works like an antibiotic. Silver-List Members, Happy New Year! I was wondering if there is a difference between DMSO and MSM, and if so, what is it? I just recently started taking MSM in tablet form along with about 16 oz of CS daily. I noticed that when I read about DMSO that it was a very strong solvent that does not seem to be real stable. So, I need some clarification as to whether I should be taking it instead of the MSM. I started this about one week ago and am still experiencing severe fatigue and it seems to be getting progressively worse. This fatigue has been a growing problem over the past year and I am very concerned about it getting worse. I also have noticed that I am retaining fluids in my body (primarily in my legs) but this seems to have been happening off and on over the past couple of months. According my doctor, he thinks that I need to be on some anxiety medication called Remeron. I do not like taking medications but I have half of my thyroid left after having the other half removed 3+ years ago due to a tumor in the right lobe. So, I am wondering what the heck to do to not be so tired. I would love to take care of this ASAP. I also have a lot of decay in my teeth which the dentist says is due to sugars and other bacterias which I don't understand since I use CS daily and have been for over one year. So, I am having them extracted just about one tooth every week and will be fitted for dentures soon. I brush my teeth with Tom's of Maine toothpaste (without the fluoride) and brush with plain baking soda and table salt occasionally. I was gargling with a 50:1 mixture of water and H2O2 after brushing until it started hurting my teeth too much. Anyhow, I hope someone has some good advice. I trust you folks much more than I do my doctor/dentist. I did, however, begin taking Penicillin VK as I have an infection in two teeth and read on the list that sometimes CS cannot get into the teeth via the jawbone so this is where antibiotics may play a positive role. Otherwise, I won't take the stuff. I know CS works as I have not been sick since taking it in September of 2005 and not receiving any flu vaccinations since. So, please let me know if any of you have a good regimen to follow for this 47 year-old man. I appreciate the hard work you/we are doing in trying to help others get and stay healthy. Happy Holidays and may God bless you and yours! In His Service, Scott Young<>< __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
