Hook up 4 nine volt batteries in series to some copper house wire in distilled water till you get a distinct Tyndall effect.
 House wire is quite pure copper.
You'll get some black tendrils if it's not stirred.
 Meters won't work.  Conductivity hits around 3 uS and stays there.
 No way to tell how strong it is. [Faraday maybe? ]
Shelf live is only a week or so as the copper oxidizes into a grey green precipitate.


Copper "can be" toxic.
