MONTENEGRIN PREMIER FILIP VUJANOVIC FEDERATION WOULD COST MONTENEGRO DEM 150 MILLION ANNUALLY
PODGORICA- An alliance of independent and internationally recognized states - is a model which Montenegro is going to promote in Brussels and at the plenary meeting in Belgrade at the end of this month- Montenegrin Premier Filip Vujanovic said. This alliance is "the only model for Montenegrin economic system to remain in coexistence with the one in Serbia" - Vujanovic said, adding that in comparison with Serbia, Montenegro excels regarding implementation of reforms in monetary, customs, foreign trade and budget areas. We do not want to follow ambitions, which could return Montenegro on the beginning stage of reforms implementation- Vujanovic said, pointing out that federation would cost Montenegro DEM 150 million annually. In ten years Montenegrin revenues in the federal cash register would reach an amount of DEM milliard and a half.- he concluded. It would be more profitable for Montenegro to use this money for development of agriculture and citizens needs- Vujanovic asserted. MP OF RULING DPS VOJIN DJUKANOVIC FEDERATION WOULD REALIZE GREAT SERBIA PROJECT PODGORICA- In the case Montenegro accepts an attitude of the European Union (EU), which suggest remaining in the federation with Serbia, this would mean ruining all the achievements in the economic sector, since it has determined all the economic positions - MP of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Vojin Djukanovic said. If Montenegro would accept Serbia's suggestions- Djukanovic said, " it would practically become Serbia's district". He has pointed out that Montenegrin inner and foreign debts per citizen are less than Serbian debts. Therefor preserving the federation would destroy the Montenegrin economy. "The EU insists on preserving the federation because of stability on the Balkans, but the EU has to realize that this is realization of the Great Serbia project". - MP Djukanovic asserted. ON INVITIATION OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT MONTENEGRIN MP'S ARE TRAVELLING TO THE USA PODGORICA- Delegation of the Montenegrin Assembly is travelling today, in three days long studies visit to the United States of America (USA), on invitation of the State Department. The delegation, consisted of fourteen members, from all parties, will be headed by Parliament Vice President Rifat Rastoder. The Montenegrin Parliament Delegation is going to visit five American states (Washington, California, Arizona, Pennsylvania and New Jersey). In the period from February 8 to March 2, the delegation is going to meet with the American congressmen, the State Department and the White House officials. Ako bi Crna Gora prihvatila ono sto predlaze Srbija - kazao je Djukanovic, ona "bi prakticno postala srpska pokrajina". On je naglasio da su crnogorski unutrasnji i inostrani dugovi po stanovniku mnogo manji od dugova Srbije, tako da bi ostankom federacije crnogorska privreda bila unistena. "EU vrsi pritiske za ostanak federacije radi stabilnosti na Balkanu, ali ona treba da shvati da je to realizacija projekta velike Srbije" - ocjenjuje poslanik Djukanovic. NA POZIV AMERICKE VLADE CRNOGORKI POSLANICI PUTUJU U SAD Podgorica - Delegacija Skupstine Crne Gore danas ce na poziv Stejt departmenta otputovati u tronedeljnu studijsku posjetu Sjedinjenim Americkim Drzavama (SAD). Cetrnaestoclanu delegaciju u kojoj su zastupljene sve parlamentarne stranke, predvodice potpredsjednik Parlamenta Rifat Rastoder. Crnogorska parlamentarna delegacija ce posjetiti pet americkih drzava (Vasington, Kaliforniju, Arizonu, Pelsivaniju i Nju Dzersi), a od 8. februara do 2.marta planirani su susreti sa americkim kongresmenima i zvanicnima Stejt departmenta i Bijele kuce. Programom posjete planirani su i brojni susreti parlamentarne delegacije sa crnogorskim iseljenicima u SAD-a.
