If you can point me to a free copy I can try under OSX, I'll be happy to
let you know how good or bad it works, since I pretty much find issues
with all emulators...

Multi-tabbed, scriptable.

I probably don't push things as much as some others, but I find that the
stock terminal window on Mac works fine.
