Hi Steve, Sorry, I don't know since I'm not an Exhibit guy. Hopefully someone else can assist.
I just downloaded the Exhibit source, and the build for it does NOT reference the Timeline files. (As far as I can tell.) So my guess is that when you start up/import the Exhibit files into your HTML file, you are telling it at some point to use the Timeline library. Wherever you do that "include," you need to change the url reference to a server where you have installed the latest Timeline source files. Timeline now has mouse-wheel scrolling by default. To switch the behavior to zooming, you'll need to modify your Timeline configuration. Please post the step by step when you have it solved.
