I have recently set up a Google Code project that uses a FileMaker database
to store events. http://code.google.com/p/exhibtmaker/
The database can export a JSON data file and a Exhibit HTML file. This is
not a web solution but the files can easily be uploaded to a server.
FileMaker can also display its databases on the web.
