Thanks a milli Mark for stepping in to shade some light. But what I want now is not to control when my timeline starts and ends (that I already did), what I want is to control where the VISIBLE part of the timeline starts and ends. I wanna be able to dynamically tell my timeline: "hey, now show me only a period of 5 months!" or "hey let me see only a period of 2 weeks on that screen now!". The invisible events on the timeline should still be there somewhere on the timeline, only I have to scroll to get to them because what I now want to see is only the events in the stipulated time frame. I hope that makes my question clearer.
