RE:  "But of course there is doubt, Cindy. Otherwise you would know and would not need convincing. Ignoring said doubt does not lead to convincing but merely the ignoring of the doubt. The question becomes, (uh, oh) can one really convince oneself of something one does not truly believe by repeating words one does not truly comprehend?

If the answer is, 'well, of course, Phil', then I would ask how you know this to be so since it has thus far failed to produce the results forth which thou seeketh? Is it because someone told you so?

All things are already known. It is all present within you. Wouldn't this be the best place to look for Truth?

The only reason this seems to be a dilemma and difficult is that believing and convincing belief is employed as though such agreements equate to ultimate truth, which they do not.

The issue of doubt only arises in belief, and one goes 'round and 'round, deciding which beliefs to believe and to include in the mental structure they are erecting to call truth. But ultimate truth...that which resists not reality's whole report...is not the product of such judgments of decision-making processes. You are quite correct in assessing that ignoring doubt (or, also ignoring the illusory world's imminent warnings) is inadequate; however, that it is unable to "convince" is irrelevant except in terms of the mental structure of beliefs (or belief system).

The reality of self (of all) always convinces those who look upon it with the same wholeness its report requires in order to be seen as it is. Divided attention steps outside the requirement that the substance of the reality of love (faithful beingness), and thus binds vision to leftovers whose core of wholeness is missing, and which therefore can never reveal reality. Looking at reality has not failed to produce "results" but is entirely unrelated to results. All results are in time, and are mental inventions akin to belief, and reality is not a result.

Yes, looking for reality where it is, is the most wise policy; however, there is nothing such as "within" in order to look there. To look within is to narrow focus to a defined scope opposite to "without"...and neither exist. Narrowing of vision is denial of whole vision, and thus we find all the methods involving focus to be delay tactics of denial that would prevent whole vision while masquerading as saviors.

:)  Thanks again for the walk around the block. The DOuG likes it.
