I think that this might be something here. We've been frustrated for the 
last couple of months with regular crashes of our webstar box, 1 to 2 a 
day,  that just didn't have an obvious cause.

Acting on a hunch after reading this thread, I moved SIMS 1.8b8 off of 
that box and put it on an extra box we had lying around.

Bingo, that did it. Since last Friday night, not a single crash for 
Webstar or SIMS.

Not sure if this is a bug so much as a DNS issue though.
