Hi again,
Well, I was able on my 7300 system, do a clean install of 9.2.1
from wthin X on a separate partition I had formatted for the purpose - I
then ran the 9.2.2 updater from within X & it went fine for me - have you a
separate hard drive you could hook up to install it on for a trial? I
haven't had any problems with classic either 9.1 or later, but my system is
plain OSX, not server - perhaps that's the difference.
One would think (though it's not always the case), that later
versions of classic should be more stable.
Bye for now, Terry Allen
