I'm running SIMS1.8b pretty much in a set and forget mode for the past
couple of years.

I discovered today that some e-mails that had been sent from our office were
just sitting in the queue (some for almost a week).  I know for a fact that
some e-mails were getting through the SIMS server--intermittent problems,
the ones I love best.

Looking at the log I found the following happening on a regular basis.  With
the message numbers corresponding to the messages sitting in the server.

One unique aspect of some of the e-mails is their relatively large size (in
the 2-3MB range).  However, I had one 3MB message go through but two ~2.5 MB
messages get held up.

Can anyone help?  Do I need to consult with PacBell?  (please know, from
past experiences only 1/3 of the tech support people have any clue.)

Note, we are using PacBell DSL for our connection and Earthlink is hosting
our web site and e-mail account (mga1.com).  All of our incoming e-mail goes
to a single Earthlink account and is pulled off earthlink's servers by
Mailtron Gateway and forwarded to our SIMS server for retrieval in our
offices.  Outgoing mail is routed through the SIMS server on to pacbell.net.
