We recently added a server
running the AntiSpam version of VopMail to our network to provide some
additional spam control to our mail servers. We're running the most recent
release (1.8b9d14) of SIMS on four Imac 350mhz computers.
Everything is working great, except, in order to
keep the VopMail box from getting blacklisted for "address harvesting"
by the SIMS servers, I have to put it's IP address in the "client hosts" area of
the SMTP module.
Unfortunately, this appears to create an open relay
situation on the SIMS servers that is caught by one of the RBL lists (ORDB to be
precise). If I disable the VopMail, and submit the SIMS servers for
removal, they pass with flying colors. I've had Vircom go over the VopMail
configuration with me, and everything appears to be set correctly. I'd almost
bet real money that it's somthing really simple and stupid I'm
missing.
Anyone have any
suggestions? I'd really like to
continue to operate the VopMail in front of the servers, if at all possible,
especially since we paid almost a thousand dollars for the package.
:)
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can
offer!
