No, his PTR record looks right:

[Pooserville:~] bubbadv% nslookup -type=mx mythtech.net
Non-authoritative answer:
mythtech.net    mail exchanger = 30 bmx.mythtech.net.
mythtech.net    mail exchanger = 10 mail.mythtech.net.

mail.mythtech.net       internet address = 68.165.138.76
bmx.mythtech.net        internet address = 64.81.198.38

[Pooserville:~] bubbadv% ptr 68.165.138.76
Non-authoritative answer:
76.138.165.68.in-addr.arpa      name = mail.mythtech.net.

I think the problem is one I encountered (which led to much joy on my CGPro
server) where the HELO must match the PTR must match the forward lookup.
Changing the main SIMS domain will work, but will have unpleasant cosmetic
side effects (for instance, an autoreply from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> will
instead come from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Just remember if you change
the domain to add a router entry along the lines
mythtech.net = mail.mythtech.net
