SIMS has proven to be an incredibly reliable work horse here as well. > What brought me back on list: > > I was just told that my server failed the latest relay tests, > allowing a message with > > "BAD HEADER Improper folded header field made up entirely of > whitespace (char 00 hex) in message header 'X-Envelope'" > > Since it passed all the tests about 9 months ago I assume this is a > new exploit ? It's almost certainly the last version of SIMS that will ever come off the line, and most of us have been running it for years without significant problems. The 1.8 betas, culminating with 1.8b9d14, have closed some serious exploitable holes that were present in 1.7, and all of them have been rock solid.
