Yes, it is relayed from outside my server, through my server to outside my server. This is the only exploit that SIMS is vulnerable to of all that are tested on a regular basis.
May we ask who is doing the testing? Though it's entirely possible that there could be a new exploit that SIMS can't handle, it would be nice to know exactly the nature of the exploit and the test for it, so we can figure out if it can be stopped.
