The instability of SIMS in the blue box forced me to move SIMS back to a OS9 box and use assp on the Panther box. This "works" and is very stable, but raises huge issues with usernames (return addresses really) and injected so many problems for me that the gain for us was just not worth the pain and we backed up to the pure SIMS on OS9.

Over the past 24 hrs my ASSP (on 10.2.8, Beige 233 G3) has gone deaf 3 times. SIMS is separate, on an OS9 machine. Any one else having similar problems? I haven't run any disk cleanup... I guess that's next on my to do list.

Also, I'm just in the testing phase, (all outgoing mail goes through ASSP, though all but some test domains' incoming is still routed directly to SIMS) and haven't seen any problem with return addresses yet. What exactly was the problem you were having?
