That was great. I especially liked "Today's young people are forgoing memory before they even have a chance to lose it." LOL!
I heavily leverage Amazon's book recommendations and ratings to guide my reading. I can't hardly buy a book at Barnes & Noble anymore. How do I know that book has 4.5 stars? What if I get home and find out it has 3? Unacceptable. Likewise with movie rentals. -Chuck On 10/28/07, Joshua Fox <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > This is from a leading political columnist with no apparent link to > transhumanism > http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/26/opinion/26brooks.html > > It's funny that he has reached conclusions like "I have melded my mind with > the heavens, communed with the universal consciousness" with respect to his > contemporary personal computing systems. > > It's in jest, but still, perhaps society is coming around. > > Joshua > ________________________________ > This list is sponsored by AGIRI: http://www.agiri.org/email > To unsubscribe or change your options, please go to: > http://v2.listbox.com/member/?& ----- This list is sponsored by AGIRI: http://www.agiri.org/email To unsubscribe or change your options, please go to: http://v2.listbox.com/member/?member_id=4007604&id_secret=58445742-1dc37b
