Yes, although I wouldn't recommend it. I also suggest that you track the PUBLISH work going on in the SIMPLE working group, which will provide a much more straightforward method of setting user presence in a server.

Now when ever state of B changes he gets a NOTIFY from the server indicating the change in the state of B. Now if user A has to notify the change of its state to server, the presence server should subcribe to user A to the state change notifications. The question is that can the server send SUBSCRIBE request on the same dialog as that established by a SUBSCRIBE from user A to presence server. More specifically, can there be two subscriptions going in opposite directions exist in a single dialog. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
