Hi. I had some questions re what is the generally accepted rule or practice, if any, re registration if a client on a host is engaging in an active SIP call and the underlying IP address changes due to a reset PPP connection.
 
- Should the client attempt to re-register with its server/softswitch?
 
- Should the server/softswitch "kill" the current call if it detects a different IP address via a new registration?
