Hi Jamkhandikar,

SDP messages are case sensitive.

Only specified character set, like ISO-8859-1, should be compared by
using case-insensitive comparison.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] SDP Problem

Hi all,

Is SDP value send in any SDP parameter Case-Sensitive...??

For eg.

m=audio 8216 RTP/AVP 0 8 18 2 this is the way we generally send the SDP,

Suppose we send the value "audio" in the following format, should the
SIP stack accept the SDP value?

1.      m= AUDIO 8216 RTP/AVP 0 8 18 2
2.      m= AuDiO 8216 RTP/AVP 0 8 18

Also, are the other remaining SDP parameters Case Sensitive..???

Thanks,
Sunil
