It can be hardware or software.

2) How can an User Agent Client know a Proxy Server IP address, when it is

It doesn't, at least by default. I think you can do that by DHCP, but the
usual way is to configure the UAC with the proper IP address.

3) If an UAC knows the IP of several proxies, what proxy should be chosen to

Usually, the UAC has a different prefix for each proxy, but once more, that
can be configured. And i think there is always a default one.

4) Who or what software is responsible to pass a proxy IP to a UAC, if the

Normally, the are both in the same software. So you choose the best way to
communicate between them.

5) Can I replace a DNS server of a Proxy with a data base (like MySQL)

Didn't understand the question. But you don't need to put your database
server in your DNS records.

6) Lets suppose my address is: sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] I have an IP Phone

You don't need to change proxy. SIP/SER supports multiple registrations if
you use forking. You just need to take the IP phone with you and connect it
to the Internet.

7)Lets suppose a Proxy Server's DNS server doesn't have the IP of a called

Didn't understood quite well. But in my opinion, your DNS records that
connect to other networks do that automatically.

Any hint will be very helpful!
