But, why is it that your phone is still listening to RTP packets when it has
indicated its mode to be send-only. If it does not do that then even if the
other phone ignores your send-only attribute in SDP it will still look like
muted from your phone side.

my problem is in my B2BUA scenario i m sending "a=sendonly" in sdp message
to party B which is cisco phone but it is not responding either with
"a=recvonly" or "a= inactive" and not getting muted( party A is not put on
hold).Both parties can hear each others's voice.
  i am using cisco phone model no. 7910, 7940, 7960.I want to know whether
cisco phone model no. 7910, 7940 7960 is rfc 3261 compliant or not?
