I'm talking about GIZMO call out ( to PSTN ) , where the call out balance is displayed on the phone.
My question is how this credit is displayed on the phone? Through some kind of SUB/NOT mechanism or a proprietary approach? I've been using the Cornfed client with SIPPhone and I know others have used other SIP devices with their service and there has never been any issue with billing. I don't know for sure, but it would make sense for them to maintain billing information on their servers.
