Just to add on to Subhash's comments,
the service route header information would be used while sending the initial
INVITE or any other request after registration and outside of any dialog...
once the INVITE transaction completed and negotiated some RR headers, then RR
header details would take precedence over SR header within that dialog...

andRecord-RouteHeaders
Hi Sreejesh,
Whatever Record-Routes are inserted by the intermediate elements
during the initial INVITE message become the Route set for that dialog.
So in Bob's case, the R-Rs in the INVITE message should be used to
construct the Route set for further messages (BYE in your example), and
in Alice's case, the R-Rs in the 200 OK to INVITE should be used as the
Route set for further messages (starting with ACK).

Regarding the call-flow depicted in Section 3.2 of RFC 3665.

Consider the case where Alice and Bob each were provided with
Service-Route
during Registration response.
In such a scenario, consider the BYE Request generated by Bob [F18].
What should the Route header value be
- Service-Route header value assigned to Bob's AOR [during
Registration] or
- Mirrored value of Record-Route header for that dialog.
Secondly, when Alice gets a 200 OK [F14] with Record-Route, what should
the
Route header be
- Service-Route header value assigned to Alice's AOR [during
Registration] or
- value of Record-Route header recieved in 200 OK.
Any Inputs in this Regard would be highly appreciated.
Thankz in advance
Regards,
Sreejesh
