How is the support for SIP INFO negotiated between 2 UACs? The initial
INVITE carries the Allow and Call-Info headers? Is that all what is needed
to Offer the support for INFO?

  [Rama] INFO is used to send DTMF on the signaling path, once you have a
established media session between 2 UA's. I guess [ABN] has replied as to what
is needed to support INFO

Also what exact syntax is used for negotiating INFO for out of band DTMF?
The actual payload carried for the INFO is the telephony-events?
  [Rama] The syntax of INFO is as below...for DTMF signals to be sent..

  INFO sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] SIP/2.0
  Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 172.80.2.100:5060
  From: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>;tag=43
  To: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>;tag=9753.0207
  Call-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  CSeq: 25634 INFO
  Supported: 100rel
  Supported: timer
  Content-Length: 26
  Content-Type: application/dtmf-relay

  Signal= 1
  Duration= 160

  The above means that signal=1 is the DTMF to be applied for a duration of
160ms. The min value is 100ms, max =5000ms and default is 250ms

A call example with an actual message exchange would be truely appreciated.
  [Rama] Once u have an established media session (typical call path) then INFO
is sent across with the relevant DTMF signal for the relevant time duration as
would be mentioned in the duration field.

Thanks

Manpreet
