According to your call-flow UA is sending BYE with authentication credentials corresponding to the 401 for INVITE. Now Server/SIP-Proxy usually uses a nonce value with a timestamp portion in it so as to protect from replay or stale responses. So probably your response credential in BYE is using a stale nonce (from 401 for Invite). I think solution is to send the BYE first without credential and when a 401 is received generate the new credentials accordingly and resend BYE with that.
