Hi, rfc 3265 says (3.1.4.1) that the value in the "Expires" header of the 2xx response received for the subscription indicates the actual duration of the subscription. Later (3.2.4) it says that if the "Subscription-State" header of the NOTIFY received for the subscription has an "expires" parameter, this value SHOULD be taken as "the authoritative subscription duration and adjust accordingly". When sending a SUBSCRIBE, the response and the NOTIFY are sent closed, and NOTIFY can be received before 2xx. My problem is to calculate the expiration time of a subscription when sending subscribe. Can the two values (the one in the response and the one in the notify) be different? Does the last message received win in determining expiration time?
