Can non invite request transaction such as an UPDATE message be sent via
connection binding information of a SRV URL?

For example, say the UAS is in dialog, and the proxy server that the UDP
connection binding info for the dialog is network down, and an UPDATE needs
to be sent back to UAC, we see that the request errors because the
connection cannot be made to proxy.

Is it stated in any RFC about how to send this request or handle this
scenario to achieve high availability?

I think we would like to send the UPDATE message out with the same request
url as was resolved via DNS SRV domain name for the proxy server, so that
the subsequent non invite request transactions can also have rollover
mechanism in terms of the connection bindings.

Is handling for this kind of rollover behaviour documented anywhere or
discussed?

Does this make sense?

Thanks for ideas,

Paul
