Anyone have any idea what is going on here?

I am recording SIP calls. When I run my recorder on the first few calls the
resulting audio is fine. After a few calls the recordings sound like each
speaker is living in a fish tank. Lower pitch, slower, and kind of bubbly.
This is true of both sides of the conversation before any merging. All audio
is in G.711 and I have a log of all network activity. There doesn't seem to
be an indicator of any problems in the log.

Many thanks!
