hi all,

*section 5 UAC Behavior (RFC 3841)*

"If the UAC wants to determine whether *servers along the path*
   understand the header fields described in this specification(rfc 3841
,caller preference)."

As per 3841 the caller preference header processing is done only at the
proxy,which is the owner of the domain in the request URI.

if there are more than one proxy in the path

let it be

UAC --->proxy1 ---->proxy2 --> UAS.

   1. my question is if Request-Disposition,Accept-Contact and
   Reject-Contact header fields are not supported by Proxy1.These headers
   are supported in the proxy 2 ,which is the owner of the domain in the
   request URI.only the proxy2 will process this request.so if there is a
   "proxy-require" since the proxy 1 will reject the request with 420 response
   code .

      i want to know ,is it possible for proxy 1 to by pass the request
(since it is not processing these header) to proxy 2 ( where the actual
processing is done for this header) instead of sending a 420 response.

regards
subbu
