LinPhone <-> SER <-> Ekiga should work fine. Ekiga is a tough nut for
starters so I suggest that you try a simpler tool like Xlite
(http://www.counterpath.com/index.php?menu=download)

In fact, you can do away with SER and use <Softphone> - <Softphone> using
outbound proxy feature supported by most softphones.
