Hi! The RFC 4145 states that if the value of the 'setup' attribute is 'holdconn' in the offer then the answer should also be 'holdconn'. This means that no endpoint can initiate a connection to the other for the time being. But, how do they initiate a connection then? Isn't this a deadlocked state? One solution, as I see, can be to initiate a new offer/answer but doesn't that keep the port on which 'holdconn' is set occupied? Am I correct? What happens if over an existing connection you send the 'holdconn' in a re-INVITE? Can anyone please clarify this.
