Hi Rohit,

Ideally there is no dependency of any changes on registeration state with
established dailogs. For example, lets say if UE Re-Registers and changes its
contact in refresh Register, the existing dialogs will continue running on
previous contact until the contact address is changes via Re-IVNITE in that
dialog. Similarly, the De-Register does not have impact for established
dailogs.

Any changes via Registration, come into effect for any new future messages.
Further, the behaviour depend on implementation and scenario to scenario but in
general there is no direct correlation.

Thanks and Regards,

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Help: UE behaviour corresponding to different
registration events received in Notify

Hi,

I wanted to understand the UE behaviour corresponding to different reg
events received in reg event Notification as there is not much clarity
provided in 3gpp specifications corresponding to this.

I wanted to know UE behaviour in following scenarios

1) Registration state = terminated and Event = Rejected

Should UE clean all the associated dialogues ?

2) Registration state = terminated and Event = Deactivated

Should UE clean all the associated dialogues ?

3) Registration state = terminated and Event = Expired or Unregistered

Should UE clean all the associated dialogues ?

Regards,
Rohit Jain
