It seems the -i <local IP address> is required in order for sipp to transmit
the message in the xml file

Subject: [Sipp-users] Getting started with sipp

I just installed sip for windows, version SIPp v3.1-PCAP, version svn456, built
May 30 2008, 09:41:13., in order to begin stress testing my SER proxy. I'm
interested in generating SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY message flows with both the Event:
presence and Event: dialog;sla for Polycom buddy list and Polycom BLA testing
respectively.

I created both a csv file with authentication information because I may want
this later in the test. I also created an xml file with a sample SUBSCRIBE
message for a buddy message which was captured on the SER server using ngrep.

When I try to send SUBSCRIBE messages using the command "sipp 128.91.2.22 -l 5
-m 10 -r 1 -sf BUDDYSUB.xml -trace_err -trace_msg" I get the following errors
in the log. I cannot figure out what sipp doesn't like. Does anyone have any
thoughts?

sipp: The following events occured:
2009-04-08 09:15:14:989 1239196514.989566: Unable to send UDP message:
Bad address.

Thanks,Steve
