The "SIPP Error.txt" file was a plain text file and there should not be any
issue opening it.
I did use netstat to check port assignment and did not find any issues.
I did check IP address assignment but did not find any issues.
I did try the most basic client/server sip command example using the local
loopback and this worked.
I am not running on Windows, I am running a separate client and server Linux
setup with each workstation connected through a router.
Since the test was scripted across both Linux workstations, I eventually found
that the script inappropriately started both client and server commands on the
same workstation. When I detected this it became obvious that the IP addresses
were not appropriate for the client command to be executed on the server
workstation.
Thanks for your time,
Tom Everett

Hello Thomas,
I am not able to open attachment. Please paste it in the email body.
Typical reason for bind error is that port required by SIPp is used by some
other application. You can use "netstat -anp" command on linux and "netstat
-anb" on Windows system to find out which process is using this port. You need
to kill that process and then try again.

I have searched the web and find a few references to this error but still have
no idea how to debug or fix it. I have tried versions 2.0.1, 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3
with all the same result. The assumption is that this worked at one point but
I have no idea what has changed and therefore need some assistance in debugging
the error.
Any help would be appreciated. Some example in the attached file.
Thanks,
Thomas Everett
