[...] If 'relate' is supported through XML/RPC we could add GUI for it. We would have to make sure it does not obfuscate basic functionality, but I am sure Joe can think of something. [Joe: can you open an issue on supporting 'sidebar' mode] We had a UI demo couple of days ago and we talked briefly about showing who's talking. That seems easy to implement on UI end. Without changing the default UI refresh period (30 seconds) though it is not very useful (as much as everybody loves to listen to their own voice we do have people that just talk for couple of seconds in our meetings; invectives usually just take a second or two). The refresh period is editable, but it's probably not the best user experience to ask people to decrease it if they want more "real-time" reactions. Maybe we should add "show/hide who's talking" toggle that would adjust refresh automatically. Better ideas welcome. And yes - we need JIRA issue to track it as well.
