I was trying to upgrade sipx-freeswitch in my development environment. #yum --enablerepo sipxecs-unstable update sipx-freeswitch
But that requires me to install sipXcommserver and some other sipx packages. I usually install my dependecies as RPMs, but I do not want to install sipXcommserverLib RPM on my development system. How do people get around it? I am pretty sure that nothing in lib directory should depend on sipXxxx packages. Shouldn't we split freeswitch packages into "pure freeswitch" that we treat as any other external dependencies and "sipx freeswitch" that contains any scripts and modifications that require sipx related variables?
