Yes. If the user includes the domain in the "Account:" value when importing, then it is used. If the user omits the domain, then the "Default Google Apps Domain" value is used. The default value for the "Default Google Apps Domain" setting should be "gmail.com". So by default an "Account:" value of "paul" (no domain) would result in an import from "[email protected]".
