Hey Everyone, Just wondering what everyone is using or has used to enforce QOS (Bandwidth guarantees) at the firewall when doing a sip trunk over the primary internet connection. We typically use Astaro firewalls which work well but they are a bit pricy for smaller deployments. We have some smaller customers that want to transition from analogue gateways to sip trunks and utilize their single DSL or Cable internet connection. There are very small customers with one or two simultaneous calls, so I've been doing testing with the Astaro and settings all phones at G729 over a DSL.....and one to two calls is working ok with moderate internet traffic when we reserve a few hundred K of bandwidth for VOIP. But I'd like a more price sensitive firewall to perform the QOS rather than sell an Astrao that cost twice as much as the phone put together. Thanks! Matt
