Buddy lists are not supported. Why don't you use BLF instead?

Subject: [sipx-users] sipXecs and Polycom "Buddies"

Whenever sipXecs reboots one of our Polycom IP550 phones, the phone
loses its "Buddies" list.

Is there a way to load the Buddies list in sipXecs (maybe under "Device
Files"?) so that it will repopulate the Buddies list on the phone after
a reboot? It's OK if everyone has the same Buddies list.

I've been digging through the Wiki, but so far I haven't found a way to
do this or to keep the Buddies list from being deleted/overwritten.
