Good evening! I have a couple of systems set up. All using Centos 5.2 and latest 4.0.4.
Same ITSP for all. Same config on ITSP side for all. I have problems with forwarding which works intermittently on one system and not at all on two others. This is what i did/have: - Exactly same config on all systems. Checked side by side. - Setup with working gateways. Ordinary In/out calls work flawlessly - Extensions with and without phones. - Gateways has call id set to ITSp call id. - Setting up forward on a phone to any external number - Calling in from external. - Routed call directly and via attendant/operator...no difference - No matter the type of forwarding i get "the owner of extension ..." after the phone has rung for a while. Well works sometimes on one system... - Tried with phone-less extensions and fully working phones. Snom320/Polycom 450 * On one system it works internittently regardless of type of forward/extension/phone. * On the others it never worked. The ITSP traced communication and said that when forwarding does not work they get From set to the external number i am calling from. So they get [email protected] when not working and [email protected] when working. They are denying the call with from set to the external number. Nothing strange there. Strange thing is why "sometimes" the gateway defined in sipx sends the correct extension "104" and sometimes the number of the calling party. Sometimes really means all the time on one system and never on the others. I can of course trace it and provide a snapshot. Should i change log level before tracing? Heard of this before? Thank you very much.
