Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Wiki time

I've tried asking Scott L and Jim C for wiki write access but that
didn't work, I do have some pages to add with patton configuration
examples.

May I have write access to the wiki please?

If it doesn't work this time I'll just email all the stuff to you Josh.

Hate to resurrect an old topic, but I personally would really like to
see the new wiki take shape and be ready by the time 4.2 is ready,
possibly sooner. I've been working quite a bit on getting decent
documentation started. Much of the existing wiki documentation is
woefully out of date and as a result has to be redone from scratch (such
as the Polycom page I've been working on). I guess what I'm getting at
is that I, along with everyone else, need everyones help to get the new
wiki up to speed. Even if you're just creating pages and typing plain
text, not worrying about formatting, grammar, spelling, etc. then I and
others can take that information and make it more presentable. Any help
at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Please help if you can. If you need to be able to create and edit pages
just post here and the devs will see that at the very least you get a
personal space to start editing documents in (which an admin can then
move to the appropriate spaces).

Thanks everyone.

Wow. lotsa stuff to do now :-)

I've been knee deep in developing key sheets and double checking a
consultants work for my big 200 extension project for the last week so I

haven't had much time to even think about doing wiki stuff. I've just
wrapped all that up so I might have some time to start working on the
wiki. Is there anything in particular that needs to be worked on first?

I've been waiting until people were back from the
holidays to take up
this thread again. For my earlier post on this see:

I have a conversion program that will do a first-order
migration of the
existing mediawiki content into a space in
wiki.sipfoundry.org. The
resulting pages usually require just a little manual
tweaking to be good
Confluence content. I'm hoping that we can spread that
effort around.

I have run the conversion - the old wiki content is now rooted
at:

        http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/oldxx/Home

That 'oldWiki' space is set to prohibit editing of its pages -
the idea
is that we'll copy pages from that space into the right place in
the new
organization (and of course start adding any new documentation
there as
        well).

Welcome to the new wiki - I look forward to making this year the
one in
which we collectively make our documentation outstanding!
