Welcome to all that is wrong with Grandstream. I tried out the new beta 
firmware and all the same problems I had exhibited before are still 
there, even the REFER issue. It's not likely these devices will ever be 
fully supported. These devices DO have one good use though: lobby/door 
phones. The XML idle screens are relatively easy to program with 
instructions (check out my post here: 
http://trixbox.org/forums/vendor-specific-unmoderated/grandstream/xml-idle-screen-enhancements
 
) and they are relatively easy to lock down.
