So these are the steps again: 1. additionally to the existing primary server we have, I install a separate mediaserver machine with sipx and move VM and media services onto it as described in your recommendation. Let's call it mmachine#1. 2. move the sipx config and mediaserver dirs to a redundant NFS server and mount it from there to mmachine#1. 3. install another machine with different IP address, sipx disabled, which will act as a cold standby. Let's call it mmachine#2. 4. mount the same config/mediaserver dirs on mmachine#2 5. when something bad happenes to mmachine#1, change IP address of mmachine#2 to mmachine#1's and start sipx BR, C
