All, Good news, I managed to get MWI working between 4.2 and CUCM6. SipX is defined over a SIP trunk on CUCM and CUCM is defined as an unmanaged gateway in SipX. It was as simple as adding the extension (of where MWI should be sent) in the MWI box under Unified Messaging.
