I suggest you set your phone up so that it will propose an Expires of 3600
seconds when it registers. The sipXecs will respond to this with a 200 OK
containing a new Expires chosen by the the sipXregistrar. The phone should
then start using that new Expires value and refresh the subscription *before*
it expires (30 seconds before, perhaps).

To specify the details, the phone should propose an expiration of 3600 when it
registers. sipXecs will respond with a 200 containing the expiration time for
this "lease" of the subscription. Well before the time the lease expires, the
phone should refresh the subscription, again proposing an expiration of 3600.
sipXecs will again respond with a 200 containing the expiration for the new
lease, which will probably be different than the time for the previous lease.
