Josh, I do not believe that there is a way to disable this through config files but I'll let sipXconfig people comment.
In the meantime, if you absolutely *must* get rid of default gravatars, there may be some other alternatives: 1- Actually make use the gravatar integration and a create free gravatar account for every user on your system and upload more acceptable pictures. This could be impractical depending on the size of your site. 2- [Hack Warning] Disable access to gravatar site in your firewall, if it is capable of such filtering 3- [Major Hack Warning] Change your DNS server or hosts table on sipXecs to resolve gravatar.com to a bogus address. System should be able to cope with this but it would have to be verified. 4- I believe that if a user configures his image from the IM client directly, this takes precedence over gravatar. Not sure that any of this will be useful to you but I thought I'd mention it just in case... bob > -----Original Message----- > From: sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org > [mailto:sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org] On Behalf Of > Josh Patten > Sent: Monday, May 03, 2010 12:21 PM > Cc: sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org > Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Disable Gravatar? > > OK, I'll raise a JIRA.
